Tri County High School Receives Grant for Wind and Solar

Vision and perseverance are paying off for Tri-County schools and students as they have recently received $90,000 in grants to install solar panels and a 65 foot windmill at the high school.

The new equipment will be used as both educational tools in the fields of science, math and agronomy as well as offset the energy costs as the school. The windmill alone will offset approximately 1/10th of the school's energy use.

Hats off and congratulations!!! These students and teachers should be commended!!
